Elon Musk Donates Sperm, Wants to Build a ‘Legion’
Break10 Web Desk: Elon Musk, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Tesla and SpaceX, is reported to have donated his sperm to a high-profile Japanese woman, at the request of Japanese officials, according to a recent Wall Street Journal (WSJ) investigation. This move aligns with Musk’s long-standing advocacy for addressing declining birth rates globally particularly in countries like Japan.
The report indicates that Musk’s efforts to father more children extend beyond traditional relationships. He has been actively using his social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to recruit potential mothers and has proposed the use of surrogates to expedite the process. In messages to Ashley St Clair, the mother of his 13th child, Musk expressed his desire to build a ‘legion’ of children to combat what he perceives as an impending population crisis.

Musk is confirmed to have fathered at least 14 children with four known women: St. Clair, Canadian singer Claire Elise Boucher professionally known as Grimes, Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis, and ex-wife Justine Musk. Sources close to Musk believe the actual number may be higher. The WSJ report also highlights Musk’s use of financial incentives and strict confidentiality agreements to manage relationships with the mothers of his children.
In the case of St Clair, she was reportedly offered $15 million and $100,000 a month in support if she agreed to keep Musk’s name off the birth certificate and not reveal he was the father. After she went public about their relationship, the support was reduced to $40,000 a month and then dropped to $20,000.

Musk’s actions have drawn criticism and sparked discussions about the ethical implications of his approach to procreation.
