Woman Elopes With Would-Be Son-in-Law
Break10 Web Desk: In a startling incident from Aligarh, a 40-year-old woman named Anita Devi has reportedly eloped with her 20-year-old daughter’s would-be husband Rahul Kumar, just days before the scheduled wedding. The wedding was set for 16 April. However on 6 April, both Anita and Rahul went missing, along with ₹3.5 lakh in cash and jewellery worth ₹5 lakh that were intended for the ceremony.
The bride-to-be’s father, Jitendra Kumar, who works in Bengaluru, expressed shock and distress over the situation. He said, Rahul would often communicate more with Anita than with his daughter, raising suspicions. Jitendra has filed a formal complaint and local authorities have initiated a search for the duo.

Investigations suggest that Rahul and Anita may have fled to Uttarakhand where the former is believed to be employed. The incident has left both families in a turmoil. The wedding preparations have been abruptly halted and legal action is underway to locate the missing individuals and recover the stolen assets.
