1. Sikandar (2024)
Touted as a mass action entertainer and released with much fanfare, Sikandar has turned out to be a major disappointment. Despite a strong opening, the film’s collections declined rapidly, earning approximately ₹109.76 crore in six days. With a production budget of ₹200 crore, the film needs an additional ₹91 crore to break even.
2. Tubelight (2017)
Salman tried to step out of his comfort zone with Tubelight, playing a simpleton in a war drama. While the intent was noble, the execution was flat. The film felt too slow, emotional beats didn’t land, and audiences stayed away after the initial curiosity. Tubelight collected ₹119.26 crore against a substantial budget, making it one of Salman’s less profitable ventures in recent years.

3. Race 3 (2018)
Marketed as a slick action thriller, Race 3 had everything except a coherent plot. Cringe-worthy dialogues, poor editing, and over-the-top performances made this one a meme fest. Despite a strong opening, the film crashed quickly. While it crossed the ₹100 crore mark, Race 3 was criticized for its content and, considering its high production and marketing costs didn’t yield the expected profits.
4. Radhe (2021)
Radhe had a over the trop (OTT) release during the pandemic. It tried to recreate the Wanted magic. But it felt like a lazy rehash. Critics and fans slammed its weak story, flat action, and Salman’s uninspired performance. Made with a budget of ₹90 crore, Radhe earned only ₹18.33 crore, marking it as a significant flop.

5. Yuvvraaj (2008)
Directed by Subhash Ghai, Yuvvraaj was an ambitious musical drama that simply didn’t connect. The film had a grand canvas and AR Rahman’s music. But it failed to make an impact and was a box office dud. The musical drama had a budget of ₹50 crore but garnered only ₹16 crore at the box office. The film is counted among the biggest Salman Khan flops.
6. Veer (2010)
Written by Salman himself, Veer was a period action drama that lacked finesse. Audiences couldn’t digest the poor special effects, melodrama, and clumsy storytelling. It tanked big time. Veer was made with a budget of ₹60 crore but earned approximately ₹37 crore.

7. God Tussi Great Ho (2008)
A remake of Bruce Almighty, this film had potential but suffered from weak writing and outdated humour. Even Salman’s charm couldn’t pull it through.
8. Marigold (2007)
Salman’s first international project Marigold was meant to be a crossover romantic film. But it failed to impress either Indian or global audiences and flopped in both markets. Made on a budget of ₹19 crore, it managed to earn just ₹2 crore worldwide, recovering only about 4.7% of its investment.

9. Hello (2008)
A supporting role in this adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s One Night @ the Call Center didn’t help the film. The script was weak, performances were below par, and the film was a forgettable affair.
10. Jai Ho (2014)
Though it opened well, Jai Ho couldn’t sustain. It was an average grosser by Salman’s standards. The dated storyline and excessive melodrama made audiences tune out quickly.
